Joel This album deserves nothing less than to go down as one of the indie/math rock greats. It's impossible to choose a fav track - those that don't immediately grab you will grow on you with time anyway. Favorite track: Synthesize.

Zane Metcalfe Such a fuckin magnum opus, honestly. There's not a single mediocre track on this album. I just really wish I could get my hands on a physical copy of For the Grandparents. Favorite track: Our First American Friends.

Certainly a controversial direction for the band, but this album ultimately rests as my favorite from TTNG. The technical mastery of their previous albums is still present here along with some very thought provoking and philosophical lyrics. I may not always agree with the lyrical messaging, but this is an album which rewards careful listening. Syobnaf
